December is when we really start to flesh out the plans for next year's Regatta Week and start to plan what we will do to improve the village amenities over the following year. So far we plan to put a new entrance and gate into the Regatta field and remove the old aerial slide. We will also continue negotiations with the council regarding long term replacement of some of the ageing trees.

As usual we will be putting up the Christmas lights around the caskbank and the head of the harbour. On Saturday December 3rd, we will be treating the village Elders to a christmas lunch.

Sadly due the probability of severe weather Carol Singing planned for Monday 12/12/2011 has had to be cancelled.
