REGATTA WEEK 2009

2008 was another successfull Regatta Week even though it was one of the wettest weeks in our history.  However we only had to cancel one event and the stalwart strength of the team shone through, battling against the elements.

Our new venture "Regatta Rocks", a music concert in the park, proved to be very successful, with some top bands and a fine disco, certainly a basis on which we can build.

Plans for the future include the remodelling of the Regatta playing field in the village to improve the facilities for our children and the people of Charlestown and the surrounding area.

Would you like to join our team? We work hard during Regatta Week and would welcome some extra help. Its not all hard graft though, we also have a lot of fun!!
